Overview
Delivered for a medium-scale industrial packaging manufacturer in Sri Lanka producing highstrength plastic strapping used by exporters. The facility operated a legacy extrusion line with minimal process monitoring.
Problem Statement
Line speed and extrusion temperature directly influenced product quality, but the lack of real-time visibility limited process control and increased reject rates.
Our Solution
SIOT created a POC integrating thermal sensors and RPM counters into an IoT system, giving realtime feedback on production variables and enabling proactive quality management.
